Precancerous growths on sun-exposed skin areas are referred to as actinic keratoses. These growths are scaly or crusty and vary in appearance and size. A small percentage of these lesions may grow to become squamous cell carcinoma. We offer the latest proven treatments for actinic keratoses with the goal of preventing skin cancer.
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is used to treat a number of diseases and disorders, most especially skin conditions like warts, moles, skin tags and solar keratoses. Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
A medical treatment that uses a photosensitizing drug (a drug that becomes activated by light exposure) and a light source to activate the applied drug.
